So our midfield goes ok without Fyfe ? Surely we play him forward for the rest of the season given our “lack of forwards” Given his elite marking and contested possession ability doesn’t that make him the perfect forward fit ? Only two things i can think of....
1) Does he have the ability to pressure the opposition defence enough ie tackling etc
2) He probably wouldn’t want to play 90% forward time as likely to impact his Brownlow chances.

Fyfe has been 95% in the midfield 5% forward. Dangerfield goes at about 65/35. I think this could help and might help protect him from himself. I worry about his longevity if he continues to play like he does

Next year Fyfe needs to declare he doesn't want to be a forward, he wants to play in the ruck.

Then Ross will play Hogan, Kersten and Taberner in the ruck at the same time, and make Fyfe play as a forward.
