He may go there in Football Manager role as a result of Paul Roos influence?, the Vic media are awfully nice to Ross and it seems they're reluctant to denigrate him because they want to be onside with him if he comes back

My mail was Scott resigned knowing he had the St Kilda job. It was unclear if Richardson knew about the arrangement. I was not convinced about the accuracy of the source at the time but I may have to concede if that is how this plays out.

Ratten has been appointed caretaker coach.

We can now pencil in a loss for our round 21 clash against a rejuvenated St Kilda side.

If this were to happen it would be a fitting ending to Ross's career with Fremantle. Coaching us to a heavy defeat against a rabble and the club he left in controversial circumstances.

We would then only need a caretaker coach for a couple of rounds and really anybody could do the job.

Just wondering, what is the record for most coaches sacked or moving on in a season. We've now had 3 so far and there have been rumblings at Essendon and Port as well as us with Ross. Leon Cameron would also not be safe if GWS missed this season after years of under achieving and a dwindling list of star players.

I’m intrigued by suggestions that RoLy can pull up stumps here and pick up another role in Melbourne? Why would Carlton, Norf or SK be interested in RoLy given his recent win/loss history and his current situation at Freo. It makes more sense to say that the game has passed him by and he has very little currency in the market. If anything, now would be the worst possible time for RoLy to be shopping himself around.

If he were interested in the Carlton job, I'd imagine he would do what he did at Fremantle and sell himself as a coach who can take a good squad, finish them off and get them into the finals. Carlton would lap up that sort of throw money around and get a quick fix mentality.
