I thought the game was over when Hughes kicked into the man on the mark. I say "on the mark" advisedly, as he was about 2 metres over the mark, and the correct decision was a 50m penalty to us and a shot on goal. Instead we got a turnover and a goal at the other end. I hate it when umpires get sucked into allowing teams to put pressure on illegally.

Agarn, just because the slime have a history of winning and staying in games and we don't doesn't mean it has to be like that. I certainly hope our players think they can win from a bad situation.
Having said that, what was the slime's excuse for kicking 1 point in 46 minutes of footy last Friday? What was their excuse for blowing a big lead and letting Brisbane overrun them in the opening game of the season? They are a good side, but they aren't infallible - particularly when the umps don't gift them free kicks and 50m penalties.
