We lack quality stoppage players - there's Fyfe and after Mundy and Conca there not much (Walters is best forward)
And we need players between half back and half forward who can kick goals - its been a problem forever.

Colyer and Conca haven’t been as effective as what we’ve needed to support blokes like Fyfe and Mundy on the field. Although they may have brought some experience to the training track and Cockburn coffee bar we’ve needed impact players in the middle, and while Walters tries his guts out in the middle, the only reason he’s running around in there is because we’ve got no one else of that class.

I agree, CA, but what I saw at the Tigers, didn't make me think he was a "must have". He probably has always stuck to the game plan since little league though. I must admit my due diligence didn't go that far back.

Blakeley needs to spend more time in the midfield and I am with Larkin, Walters is best forward. I know he has been good going through the middle but he is extraordinary in the forward half.
