There's still 7 games to go in the 2019 footy season, but I'm finished with it already. It started so brightly, so full of (false) hope for all of us, the long-suffering Dockers supporters, but Ross Lyon has gone and done it again, and I've lost faith in the club.
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,
it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness,
it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity,
it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness,
it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair,
we (hoped we) had everything before us,
we (learned we) had nothing before us..."
Apologies to Charles Dickens, but they just don't write 'em like they used to.
