I recall when after the game the coach would address members in a function room with a few players present and mingling, it gave the feel of a club. Those days are long gone.
im an inaugural member one year we had a dinner, paid $100 good dinner lots of players, coach etc made you feel special, next year it was a breakfast, still good if a little early, less players this time as in recovery. Then the third year it was a afternoon tea, I didn't attend and was told due to lack of interest they wouldn't do anymore. The members board member positions were hijacked by former players years ago.We are just taken for granted, in fact I think if you arent a corporate you are seen as a nuisance..
