Mackenzie, don't read too much into it, he had run his guts out, been belted from pillar to post with no protection, and then probably had to listen to why it was the players fault for not meeting KPI's. The eyes were probably red with rage, if I am any judge of the bloke.
Bpurple, Walters kicks more goals playing through the middle than he does as a small forward, and I think it is because he is able to slip opponents easier, than when he has a lockdown defender holding his jumper all game, it is probably the only coaching decision I agree with at the moment. What he, Fyfe , Brayshaw and co need at the moment is some physical protection of the Crowley, Carr type. Make opponents aware that there are repurcussions if our stars are targeted.
