Can I again raise Tim English as a recruiting target for 2020. Watching English this year I see the makings of a 'Grundy-like' or 'Gawn-like' ruckman. This is the modern day ruckman which sadly Darcy is not. The thought of English and Lobb together at the Dockers is exciting to say the least

Thanks for that Blocker, more's the pity. For how long? Can we get him in a couple of years? I think he'll be one of the best by then regardless what others think.
I think Lobb is more a tall marking forward who does some ruck work but English is a genuine athletic ruckman who can play all over the ground like Gawn and Grundy. Good luck to the Dogs in being able to keep him.

I wrote a little on him in another thread before seeing this but Jackson's 198cm and not a lead ruckman for mine. He'll be a fantastic second ruckman/forward however and I like the look of him. He could go anywhere from about pick 15-30 but it depends on who has picks where and who is after a ruckman/forward.

I like how all our foot injury's have occurred at places that aren't Optus stadium while we have rarely trained on it. Still, our top men blame it consistently and refuse to train there without any evidence whatsoever. Top men. Meek would barely have been on it at all.
