We are as bad as:

A strange smell in a lift;
Donald Trump hugging the North Korean;
Justin Beiber's voice;
Labour pains;
Opening the fridge and not closing it;
Seagal's acting.

I'm out, you get the idea.

What drives me absolutely screaming nuts (and has done for some time) is how our opposition (even the lowly ones) seem to have all the time and space in the world to pick out a target when going up the ground....but when we get the ball and try to go forward the strategy always seems to be bomb it long (usually up the line) to a contest which results in a stoppage or a turnover.

At times, the Dockers are very, very bad.
We all know that the club now has a squad full of skilled players.
That performances, and results, like today are still happening shouts really, really loudly that the quality of coaching does not, in any way, match the quality of the assembled playing squad.
The two AFL clubs brave enough to change their coaching setups this season have shown big improvements in on-field performance and are getting the results.
Seems to me that's what Freo also have to do.

on radio on way to game ,david hale was asked about ,lobb and sandi getting back to play.
he said sandi is knocking the house down and will more than likely play next week,he was asked in the two's or afl,he did not say either way ,and said we will see.
he was pretty confident that lobb will get up for next week.

If Lobb plays next week, then where does Hodor go if not in the ruck?
... I know where Cox will be...

Bewlay has plenty of opportunity now but has done little. Why not give North a run and see how he goes?

Banfield showed he has been wasted in the 2's, but as a player who likes to play the game as it appears in front of him, will be back there again very soon.

Freo siren, haven't you heard? Lyon is the best stoppage coach in the entire world. A worlds best stoppage coach. Why would he set up a game plan predicated on kicking to teammates and avoiding stoppages. Even when the footy is in the corridor, Freo players seem to be instructed to get in and force the stoppage, instead of sending 1 or 2 players in and the rest ready to "spread" like opposition teams do.

I have a very different view to that RM.
One of the big issues I had with how we played yesterday and why we lost yesterday, was in the second quarter. When the Blues clearly had ascendency and were throwing everything they had at us, our players refused to back away from the attacking option. When we needed to settle and maintain some possession we continued to rushed play on and take risky kicks into the corridor.
I would’ve liked to see us hold the ball and force someone to hit up. Instead we had very little possession and when we did we have it up immediately.
The players need to take some responsibility around how we can get up against top four teams yet have lost to the bottom three.
I would bring in Nyhuis for Hughes to cover Ryan or Rioli. Crowded for Bewley he isn’t impacting anywhere near enough

I disa-disagree with that DBTS. We fail to get the footy out of our backline by taking time (allowing opponents to get to the 10 meter corridor along the boundary) which sees the footy come back into our defensive 50 time and time again, until cleared by the boundary umps (running it back to the centre square).

When we go the centre corridor route, our success rate is much better. Also, after quarter time how many kicks were to a player leading at the footy? Bugger all. We send the ball into a vacant 50 with 6 or 7 players racing forward to get to it, but 1 of the 2 or 3 opposition defenders back there gets it and kicks it over the heads of our late arriving troops, into the vast spaces behind them. Allowing the opposition to draw and pass all the way to goal. It stands out on TV, so it must be blatantly obvious to supercoach, but it keeps happening.
