I can see why Toast supporters are so excited to have the legend back. He seems to have made a remarkable return with above career average statistics in his first game back. Although he was slightly down with his marking stats (no marks for the game, just below career average), his five kicks and one handball should have the journos at the Worst searching the dictionary for superlatives.

Seriously, though, there’s clearly a mistake in the stats from the Slime v Weepoos game. If they are to be believed, there were 115 ruck contests in the game - all but impossible. Sure it was wet, but Port/Bullies was even wetter, and there were only 79 in it. Somehow or other, the numbers are haywire, and, logically, Naitanui has been the main beneficiary.
