I can get picky and say it's not the same - instead I will say close enough. Good on them, finally. Sure, I hate the chevron thing and especially what it did to the membership - I hate everything about it, how they did it, etc.

But I think it's a good move, because it's the right thing to do. I hope we kick 22 goals and absolutely obliterate whoever we play on the day.

It’s enough for me that Mundy is wearing the retro jumper that I’ll buy one, because I know I won’t have the privilege of watching him for too much longer and I want that jumper with his number on it as a memento of his magnificent career.

Still have two versions of the anchor jumper - the classic home version (from circa. 2003) and the white away with the purple anchor, which is probably my favourite of all Freo's jumpers. Still wear one or the other of them to games - have never owned a Chevron jumper, and happy to keep it that way. So retro round will require no outlay from me!!

I have the last Purple Haze jumper that the Wiz wore in 2008 but i would never wear it.

The original jumper was seriously ugly, shall dust mine off and get it out for another spin. Purple jumper with white anchor was definitely the best.

I've got one of those purple with white anchor jumpers - #11. I asked Mikey to sign it the summer Dessie retired. He signed it smiling then hovered the pen over it....finally put #38 next to his name and said to bring it back when he got the #11 and he would change it. We both laughed, but it wasn't funny - Tommy got it and I tossed it in the bottom of my wardrobe. I'll dig it out and take a picture.

So WAL - are you Twiggy Forrest or a raffle winner?
