Thr difference is Oscar is taking probably the third or fourth best defender there’s no pressure on him to lead the attack. Cox had to do it last year and again until Hogan returns. He looked a lot better with Tabs and Hogan with him

I'd resist bring Cam in, and make him 'earn his stripes'. Not sure hes done that. Nor Dixon.

Give Mundy a spell in the forward line. Worked well enough last year.
Bring in Banfield, Nyhuis and maybe, this is a chance to give Ballas a go. We know he'll give 100%....even if its just 1 game...

In fact , we know all three will give 100%...or more.

Do you want goals or a whipping post? Of course you would bring Cam in - with 10 goals at 1.7 per game he's still more prolific at goal scoring than Hoges (at 1.1 per game) and Tabs (at 1.4). Only Mikey and Peaches have a better record (at 2.2 per game).

We're up against Carltoon this Sunday - have you even considered how bad a home loss to those fools would be?

Polly I'd say that a home loss to Carlton would be alot worse than losing to Melbourne and mildly worse than losing to gold coast

Cam & Cox, surely can become 2 decoys for Walters and Matera to run their magic.

Lose to them at home and our hopes of finals would be gone, plus all the players wanting to leave and the goodbye Roly talk will resurface.

Well..there's the thing Polly - (and please note I respect your point of view immensely!.)... if Cam doesnt make the team against Carlton, will he be 'fired up' to take all before him, or completely p....d off??

Maybe it will give him the 'kick in the behind,' he needs?, to realize the potential he's undoubtedly got.

I would agree that he shouldnt be floundering in the 2's at this stage of his career.... but, that is something that is completely under Cam's control.

I feel like I'm pullng the ol' Tabenar record of the shelf and giving it a spin, - maybe thats wrong - but it really is time for Cam to stand up and be a 'best 22' player....

Yep...hopefully that starts this weekend, irrespective what ground he plays on.

I get the impression that Cam is not one of Roly's favourites. He didn't even get a run in pre-season games and was doing as much or more than Hogan and Cox but always seems to get the chop when others get more perseverance.

Saying that, he hasn't done much since being back at peel, but then again neither had Cox.

I suppose every side is the same when it comes to players on the outer, but Banfield and Nyhuis also seem to fit the criteria. Banfielld's output was better than what we've seen from Bewley and he's regularly been in the best for Peel but still can't seem to crack a recall.

Lobb, Taberner, Hogan and potentially Walters gone. Where's Freo going to get the 12 goals needed to beat Carlton? Matera will get a third of them but what about the rest?

McCarthy HAS to come in and Ballantyne, Schultz or Colyer as well.

Davo, we will rely on the old "kick the first 2 goals of the game and then throw everyone back to stop the opposition from scoring" tactics.

This week Switkowski will kick goals. Fyfe will get a couple, as will Hill and Blakely. Twelve goals - no problem.

Walters free to play - there's at least 3 goals, thankfully.
