From too many fish to not enough. No Lobb No Hoges No Tabs. Cam just going but looks the likely replacement. Hill out so is in Banfield or Nyhuis or maybe even both depending … All three are AFL capable.

I happy enough for Cox to be kept in, and 'given a bit of a run at it'. But he needs to extract the digit and have a 'red hot go'.

20 or not, hes got to take this opportunity. He's not big on 2nd efforts, and some of his 1st efforts are half-hearted.

But, please, can we make it a bit more simple for him?.

Can we keep him in the foward fifty, minimize the running he has to do, and not bugger up another tall forward?;

Can we encourage him to lead from the goal line?;

and,

When he does, is there half a chance we can kick it lace out to him....???

Yep, understand about his potential and that's it's all very good but he needs to deliver on it. With our injuries we can't afford to carry a key forward who is averaging less than four marks, less than ten disposals and less than a goal per game.
McCarthy was doing better than that when he was dropped.

Cox has ability but is very slow (makes big Darce look like a Stawell gift winner)and whilst he can take a good mark in the long run you have to be more than "a one trick pony"
Most of the time his effort at the ball appears half hearted and then he tries a fancy little knock on
Tabs is a much better player even at a young age but had to earn his stripes at Peel
Think Cox needs to do a big pre season with a specialist sprint coach to improve but will the club point in that direction or let ho hum Jason Weber set his fitness goal/tasks

Compare Cox with Oscar Allen for the WC in the AFL stats who is talked up as the next WC messiah. Cox while having played more games is bigger, has comparable stats and IMO takes a better mark.

Can’t expect every player to move like a cat and turn on a sixpence.
