How are they going? How's Valente and Sam Sturt doing? They were our two high picks last year. And how are Dixon and North getting on? Anyone know?

I'd genuinely like to know if anyone knows how our Peel players are getting on. I think Carter went off with a leg injury too.

Peel and players is possibly a conjunctive oxymoron - just suggesting for a friend.

Naw, sorry about that.

I haven't seen Peel for a while, but looking at the stats the same players seem to be doing a lot of the heavy lifting - Blair Bell for instance. From what I've been seeing in the stats/reports, Banfield and The Owl have been good - good stats in disposals, marks and tackles. North appears to have good games and ordinary ones; Carter seems to fit in the lower range of mid table. Valente has suffered a couple of bad concussions and is being rested I believe - or maybe that was Sturt, not sure - neither has seen much recent action from what I gather. But I could be wrong.

Ballantyne is making a surge - wouldn't that be grand to see him back for a bit.

I'd bring Ballas back for the Derby.

Still doubt we can win but just his presence will aggravate those self entitled flogs.....and that's worthwhile on its own

Banfield has been listed in our best for the last three weeks and deserves a recall. He's regularly been picking up around 30 disposals appearing to be play as a genuine midfielder instead of that bloody tagger/defensive half forward role he was pigeon holed into.
This week was Sturt's first game back in months after two concussions-worrying.
Valente has hardly played a game due to injury. Remember we decided to change his running style. Thta't gone well...not.
Nyhuis has been in our best for the last two weeks picking up 25+ disposal. Where are they playing him now?
The Owl seems to have started the season well but gone off recently.
North, Schultz, Dixon......list fillers?
Thoughts on Bewley? Nice kick but doesn't really get the ball that much.

I'd always heard that Dixon was a special talent. But like most on our list can't get a run at it with injury.

The obvious first pick from Peel is, as CA has indicated, Banfield.

We heard that about Apeness too Hypen. Becoming a very similar scenario.

Didnt go to Saturdays game but based what i have seen over the previous four weeks Bailey B and Ryan Nyhuis are both playing with great endeavour and importantly a good attitude They should be the first two picked
After that it is a bit wishy washy but Schultz is a goer and deserves another chance (he plays a fearless style like Brady Grey)
Jason Carter shows good promise but needs this year at Peel to develop (same for tobe watson )
The Owl gives an honest effort but lacks a bit of polish to make a real impact in the firsts
Cam is cam and is mostly half hearted and seems to only fire up if the opposition "rattle his cage"but we all know he has the necessary ability/talent but that only takes you so far, Is he a keeper for next year ???
Hugh Dixon comes across as a bit timid , can take a good grab but doesnt demand the ball enough and drifts out of the game but still only young so worth keeping for next year
