Every year that old bad luck strikes us. Who needs a review of this? Not us apparently. Nothing to see here, move on.

A lot of people might think bringing a guy who's missed nearly a year of football straight back into the side with no warm up games was fraught with danger, but what would we know.

Just put down it down to bad luck again.

Personally, I'm putting it down to a failure by the club management to check on the Feng Shui of the new digs at Cockburn. Seriously, does anybody there actually plan ahead?

I reckon they should take a good hard look at that horseshoe mounted over the doctor's office and maybe try hanging it with the ends pointed upwards.

Thats usually done by actually planning, acknowledging areas of failure and correcting them . Bitching about bad luck isn't the most effective way of changing that

The injuries have struck at the worst possible time again, with many of them all but season ending,and two weeks out from a derby. Compare that with west coast who have literally their entire list available as of next week. Well, except for Patrick Bines and Harry Edwards. No, me either.

It's approaching that time of the year when I have to mentally prepare myself for them winning another flag.

Why is it that year after year we have injury problems and they don't?

Bad luck v good luck? I don't think so. It's the medical/fitness teams job to make the right decisions and keep the players on the park as much as possible. Their team is better at it than ours.

I feel like the slime manage their list better, and they keep important injured players back until they really need them. They can’t win a flag without that bearded lunatic forward, so they kept him back until finals last year. Maybe we were trying to do the same with S. Hill, ie until after the bye. But I question taking him to the MCG when it’s sub-Arctic conditions.
