I don't understand why it's ok to have plastic chairs or anything else that could cause injury on the inside fence of the ground, at best maybe give people a foam block to sit on.
if I was McGovern I would be blaming any injury on the chair and pointing out the AFL has failed in it's duty of care to insure player safety .
The other day in the WAFL when perth played Subi the metal fence signs were blowing loose and could have easily caused serious damage to players during the game if they slid over the boundry line.
Surely it's time they make sure there's no way players can get hurt sliding over the boundry line.
