Yep, ..at any point in the last 5 years, we could have flogged off Dave to the highest bidder. He could probably have earn't a lot more if he went elsewhere.
We could have got some really good, top notch up & comers for him.
It 'probably' could have been a sensible , rational & foresightful move. Many in this 'god-foresaken' AFL industry would have seen this as 'a good business' move
But we didn't.
Damn glad we didn't. And I'm even more glad he hung around with us lot, and has stayed a Docker.

Same applies to Stephen, I'd reckon. Clapped out or not, it'll mean a lot that he retires as a Docker.
