No excuse CA. They would’ve known who they were playing long before the jumper was designed so it should’ve be designed accordingly to avoid a clash, just like everyone else has. Tossers.

I abhor the Eagles and everything they’ve ever done, but with their colours being yellow and blue, and Adelaide’s being yellow and blue and red, I reckon the onus was on the crows to leave in a bit more red.

Now I feel dirty.

West Coast played Melbourne the week they wore their indigenous jumper. Why not create a predominately yellow one and they could have worn it twice?

I love most of the indigenous jumpers and reckon clubs with oft-clashing jumpers should use them as their clash during the entire season.

But this is a genuine question: if you think an indigenous jumper is a dog’s breakfast is it culturally insensitive to say so, or patronising to keep it to yourself?

It's a good question.

The context is the designs are deeply personal so may be not culturally insensitive but insensitive none the less.

There's good and bad designs, right?

I'm not wrapped on ours, I don't understand why we can't incorporate other colours.

Fair enough, I don't care about how sensitive anyone is - that chevron jumper is a bloody disgrace. It has absolutely zero cultural significance and only epitomises the soulless vacuum gut wrenching ugly footy that we've endured for years.

I welcome the Indigenous Round every year for many reasons - one of them is that it is the one round when our jumper actually means something again.
