Just saw on AFL site Sandi offered to retire before June draft, we've knocked him back. However we could still participate in draft if players are on long term injury list (eg Kerstan or Ballas)

Too right we should refuse his offer

Get him right for the back end of the season - particularly finals.

Absolutely no need to be playing him now.

Look at all of the previous 5 or 6 years...we play him early and he conks out halfway through the year.

Bring him in mid July, and unleash a fresh Sandy on all the oppositions tiring rucks.

Plus, we are kidding ourselves if we reckon Lobbe can handle the ruck for the whole year.

Sandi definitely has a place in 2019. Make his contribution short & sharp, and - most importantly - devestating for our opponents.

And when the time comes, we'll give this bloke the biggest send-off that any Docker has had.... He's a Fremantle Champion.!

Well generally we've been drafting quite well but if there was a spot I wouldn't mind seeing Jye Bolton get a run because he is a far superior footballer to Bewley from what I've seen so far, big bodied midfielder and a ball magnet. Bewley still struggles to find the ball in the WAFL. We seem to have most other positions covered but our frontline midfielders may need a rest to freshen them up for finals later in the year.
