If he got through ok I would bring him in for Tucker. I don’t see that you lose too much as Tucker isn’t really impacting and Blakely has the potential for 30+ touches.

It's funny that you mention Conca as a possible out. I was just discussing that with a family member that despite the grunt and hard edge that they supply would Conca and Colyer be in our best 22 if Stephen Hill and Connor Blakely were fit and available. Tucker is an interesting one too because a couple of games this season I haven't been impressed by his performance watching the game live but then on viewing the replay I've noticed a lot of inside grunt work and one percenters that have made his contribution very important in the team's result.

No major team crisis to necessitate Blakely inclusion. And Tucker doing pretty well, considering his whole five games and the varying jobs he has likely been given. Blakely should get another Peel run, and see how form and injury shape things after next week.

Conca and Colyer were smart choices as recruits. They may not be in our best 22 but you rarely have your best 22 available (as is the case at the moment).
When trying to cope with injuries, depth players like these two can be the difference between winning and losing games. They are serving us well while we wait for Hill and Blakey and will be in the mix again when the inevitable future injuries occur.

Fyfe looked really sore at times and in particular at the end of the game chucking his mouth guard. I think he wants to play but might need some time on the side. We've got plenty of tough games ahead and if a week out helps maybe sooner is better rather than later especially if CB is ready.
