For the pundits best players, I suggest they be forced to award them quarter by quarter, rather than wait until they see who wins and then give them all the votes. So many times I see a team win by a goal or so, and get almost all the best player votes. A missed shot, a dodgy free kick, and suddenly a whole lot of different people deserved the votes?
Of course you can't ask the coaches to give votes during the game, but certainly the commentators, and those who decide the Glendinning-Allan trophy, should have to do so.
