I have a toddler who doesn’t sleep so I’m awake watching clips of David Mundy on YouTube. I watched him kick the winning goal after the siren against the Tigers 7 times in a row and was still getting goosebumps. Maybe because lack of sleep has fried my short term memory. Watched Justin Longmuir’s after siren goal and got even more goosebumps. There’s something about JLo and Troy Cook flinging themselves into the crowd, I can’t get enough of it. Man I loved Troy Cook.
But I digress.
Tell me some things about David Mundy. I want to sing about him in a song. I’ve made a start but I do my best work when I poach my lyrics from you lot. And I’m so very tired these days from running around after little Fyfer*.

The early Mundy looked like he was using some spooky Relativity trick and had his own expanded version of time. Like he'd spent half an hour somewhere contemplating the options for every play then popped back into our normal reality to execute it smoothly.
