I assume it goes something like this:
Chris Scott won a Premiership as a coach of Geelong and they are generally pretty good; therefore
Chris Scott must be a pretty good coach; and
Brad Scott was born with the same DNA and has had similar experiences; therefore
Brad Scott can't be that bad a coach, so there must be something else holding North back.
I think he's been in the Ross Lyon zone for a few years, where no-one really expects North to be that good, and they haven't been bad enough to fire him.
In his defence, North did start last year pretty well, and played pretty good footy doing it, but I'm not sure he can ride out too many performances like today.
