Many young forwards have been sent to full back to learn how to play there. Pavlich is the most famous but I remember seeing Fevola, Taberner and Dew play back.

Pav also played forward and midfield. Mundy has played all 3 areas. So has Hodge. Jesse also has the makings of a superstar utility. I wouldn't compartmentalise him as a forward when we currently have a number of fit and able forwards.

Last year Tabs was injured, McCarthy was average and Cox couldn't kick straight. Now with Hogan and Buckets Lobb in the side we have many guys who can play forward, so what's wrong with putting Jesse back or on the ball.

Makes perfect sense to me, especially if Darcy is fit and Lobb is only needed as 2nd ruck.

Inside 50s and scoring shots aren't the problem. Kicking straight is the problem!
