Yeah Roger, any criticism of a bloke who has coached us to 46 losses in the last 70 games is completely unfair and just down to blind hatred.

Give me a break.

Simpson has outperformed him for 4 seasons almost by concentrating on things roly refuses to touch. A bloke who coaches significantly more losses than wins is NOT going ok.

Add that to his off field behaviour and he shouldn't be anywhere near the club. But you'll accept anything won't you.

I recall a couple of years ago we had no viable forward options, it was suggested that Fyfe be sent to the forward 50. The idea was howled down voraciously by the crowd on D/L, how could you send our best midfielder forward? It doesn't make sense. Now, sending the "Forward Bargain of the Century" to the backline (or midfield) is suddenly genius coaching at work. God save us.

Fremantle are 2 and 2. It’s not the end of the world yet. If we can somehow scrape a win or two in the next couple of games then Freo will get Blakely and Logue back which will help with depth. On top of that, the forward line hasn’t really gelled at all yet but they have only played together for a few games. The backline is on its way to being elite. The midfield is a problem.

I still don’t think we will play finals but i am not as despondent as I thought I would be by now. Skill level is still this clubs achilles heel but there is a decent team being built.
