So its twenty five years since our first derby. And on reflection it feels the same as it did that week in 1995. Facing a vastly superior opponent; you know the on and off field gap is huge and you are approaching the clash with nothing more than dumb blind hope. We're outgunned everywhere with an injury list as long as Spider Burton's arm. Its their home game and they've won the flag the year before. They're at the top of their game.

Coaches and CEO's did some serious yards between 1994 and 2007 for our club, but I'm not thinking of Neesham, Harvey or the Colonel today. On this day of reflection Steve I just want to say a big thank you, for taking us right back to living in the moment.

*its actually 24 yrs but my goodness I'm angry.

This topic is as good as any to bring this up ...

When are you, Steve, going to bring back the original colours and logo? The stats now show both the chevrons and the anchor are equally "successful" so its time to bring us back to our roots; I will concede the relocation to a bit further south than South Fremantle.

My market research suggests a strong association between Chevrons and the production of fossil fuels, with many expressing a preference for the the anchor.

Disclosure: This may or may not have anything to do with my club merch now looking a bit tired and in need of replacing - preferably with an anchor, and red white green and purple on it.

25 years ago I had hair, children, and youthful parents/babysitters. The night that the Dockers were revealed I was ecstatic. Best jumper ever! The Sharks were premiers! Could life get any better? No it couldn't.
