What I'd like to hear is
"well, we took a lot of heart from the announcement about the EHT this week, a global network of telescopes that managed to capture data from a black hole a few million light years away in space. It's a phenomenal achievement and adds further support to proving Einstein's general theory of relativity so I said to the boys bugger it, if they can do that, we can knock those floggers off so we just went out and did it."
