I have never seen Tom North play but he seems to be in pretty good form. Are his skills any good? I see Fremantle probably needing to bring in a couple of midfielders next weekend and am wondering if he could get the nod ahead of Giro or Crowden. They are solid young players but we kind of know what they will bring. The obvious out to me would be Banfield, but he has been good in derbies so far. And what of Bewley? Is he injured?
The ruck is another position that we seem to be struggling in which is disappointing because it is by far west coasts weakest link but I don’t think we will be able to exploit it.

Either use Banfield as a stopper or stoppage beast...or send him to Peel. Peel is my choice. Bring in North for Fyfe and Sturt for Banfield spot in forward line. Banfield as a forward is just too backward for me.

Agree Suker but it's not the Roly way. He always seems to see a need a for a defensive half forward and it has killed off many a Freo player before now,

Yep, and being a defensive forward shouldn't mean you are not handy and skilled at goal scoring and creating.

True, but in Rolyworld if you play as a defensive half forward your role is to negate a running half back and attempt to stop them setting up play. Kicking goals is secondary.

CA, in Lyonworld, if you are a fullforward, you are responsible for stopping opposition forward 50 entries, and kicking goals is secondary. It is just how things are.
