Melbourne will run through a banner made up of abusive tweets in a stance against online bullying.
The Demons’ banner for Friday night’s game against Essendon will feature numerous vitriolic tweets sent to their players in a partnership with The Reach Foundation.

I don't know about this. Rather than an anti-bullying message it comes across to me as a bit precious, and a bit elitist.
It seems like if Gary Lyon or Craig Hutchinson want to rubbish someone, it's sanctioned because they're esteemed members of the media. If Nathan Buckley or Brad Scott want to pot a player from another team, that's ok because they get paid to do it. Footy Classified is an hour of gossip and abuse.
But if someone who pays to watch the game sees something they don't like and tweets it out, it's bullying.
Those examples they're using seem pretty reasonable things for someone o say when they're watching football. It's not the equivalent of racism, it's not the equivalent of sexual harassment and it's not the equivalent of targeted bullying. It's rich blokes complaining that they're not universally loved.
