Yes, it is a reality check. We still don't have the quality we need all around the ground. And we didn't have enough desperation in the middle (Fyfe excluded). And we weren't very well organised in defence at times.
So there is lots to work on. Individual player development (including better kicking, of course), better structure in defence, greater desperation. But I think that we have good enough players that if they are coached well, we'll be winning more than losing by the end of the season. That is, Roly doesn't have the excuse he had for the last 3 years of not having the cattle he needed.
