Channel 7 should have done a better job of monitoring the fools but I don't think you can just let it go as people are appalling.

When Channel 7 open up a Facebook page they provide a platform for people to speak and a large audience for them to speak to. They wouldn't let these people go on television and say this stuff. They wouldn't print letters in their newspaper without reading them first. Yet they think it's ok to leave the messages up for significant periods of time without removing them. They were either slack in checking their page or they saw them and thought them ok.

If some cretin make a comment on their own page, their own idiot mates see it. If someone does it on a Channel 7 feed, much of the country sees it.

Channel 7 know they're responsible and that's why they've gone to such great lengths to rectify the situation.
