I am sure you have all seen the jumper. A leverage off the Thor movies leveraging off Marvel stadium which the Western Bulldogs are leveraging off as they wear that jumper for round 1. Its not that its awful - its that its debasing the football club.

A football jumper is the most elemental symbol of a club. Would you agree with that?

Can't they find other ways to do this income stream creation stuff? The marketing people who do these things will point to and say you don't understand. But is it fair to say its they who don't understand?

Just don't mess with a club's jumper. I don't care how many kids buy it in the short term, it cant be good in the long term.

Too true hypen Carlton are still trying to live down the light blue M&M jumper and Gary Hocking has never recovered from calling himself whiskas.

you have to be careful to protect your brand, I refuse to call Docklands marvel stadium it just sounds naff and stupid, same as the WB jumper, actually with those initials maybe a picture of Bugs bunny on the front is more appropriate.

It's a hideously stupid thing.

Whoever thought that was a good idea probably blitzed marketing school and then promptly failed in dealing with reality. The first thing I would do is have them drug tested, then test their vision because somebody is not playing with the full deck.

The club wont live that down for a decade or more

Thor type carp.....it’s sellout to tradition and history and a stupid short term money spinner. Bring back the jarrah slab see saws and lets have these kids toughen up a bit. They’ll know what thor means when they get hit in the chin by one of those.
