I heard an interview with Shaun Mc years ago describing Connelly as a snake oil salesmen.
Wonder what he thinks of this clown.
Must be breaking his heart after all the hard work he, fletcher and the Carr boys put in giving the club some credibility.
I miss the culture and fear that guys like Pav, Crowley, Luke, Grover, Roger, Parker, Byron, Barlow all built.
Who are our legends now?? Who is going to stand up and be ruthless like Pav was when Harvey got axed?? ‘It is what it is, ok, let’s make this work’
We just don’t seem to have a way out. It’s Lyon comes good or we’re done. There’s nothing to fall back on. It’s roll the dice and rebuild again or hope that things get better.
Hope is not a strategy for success, but rebellions are built on hope. It’s a star wars quote, but they all died for some drawings and put them in a robot that only a chance of luck led to a one in a million shot. I’d like better odds.
My ramblings and pop culture references are my way of saying that I think we’ve got a rough path ahead. Maybe we can rebuild some of our old culture in the process to give us rebels something to enjoy, and a little less re-stumping of a cricket pitch that has nothing to do with playing competitive football.
