Official free kick count for yesterday's game was a surprisingly even looking 25-20 in Meth Coast's favour.
There's no stat available for the number of free kicks NOT paid.
Or acknowledgment of what seems to be the tried-and-tested, well established Margetts/Dalgleish tactic of awarding the majority of free kicks against WCE only in the early part of the first quarter or the final minutes of the fourth quarter.
Like WCE, they have a plan, and they stick to it. Failure is a rarity.

It may look normal us loosing the count but we should have been 5 kicks more than them , that would look normal also to a random onlooker .

That would have given us 10 more frees than we got . those 10 kicks may have made a difference .
If a team gets them every week it would be very helpful .

But when you're second to the ball, chasing all day, lose every stat in every department and get beaten by nearly 9 goals I think it's unrealistic that you would win the free kick count, no matter who the other team or umpires are.

Saying that, I do realise the slime have dream run with umpires particularly M & D, so surprised it wasn't a bigger discrepancy.

If you think we got a raw deal, check out St Kilda and the Bulldogs - 40 to 14 in favour of the Bulldogs, which must be some kind of a record. For some reason that's not uncommon for the Bulldogs, and I recall a game where they had something like 19 frees to our 5, or certainly in that proportion. Bizarre, really. Mind you, we've had a raw deal from the umps for 25 years (a statistical fact), and I've never understood that, either.
