You know, it’s hard to imagine anyone with any inkling of Australian Rules footy in their life not having some kind of a soft spot for the Fremantle Dockers.

But, I was once in a book store and picked up this coffee table book that detailed every bit of mismanagement and just plain bad form of the English national soccer team in the modern era.

Confidence and success are mutually exclusive. I don't like what I saw, particularly yesterday. Tab last week looked like he had taken a step back a couple of years. Great coaches can elevate players' performance, but gee, when we lose we look so clueless, cautious, nervous and vulnerable. RL may have done well with our sides of 12-13 but since the last half of 2015 we have mostly looked bereft of confidence and joy.

The players have had all the flair, inititave and excitement pounded out of them. Ballantyne is the barometer of that. He would have been at Gaff all game had he been the Ballas of 2010/2012, but it is obvious he has to toe the part lyon. Just like Walters, Wilson, Ryan, Darcy et al. Things will not change until the entire coaching box is turned over, we turned over the playing list and things stay the same so the next move is obvious.
