What's the deal with not playing McCarthy pre-season games? Is he injured or is it just one of those random Ross things where he decides he's going to improve a player by not training him?

Cam confuses me. I keep on hearing about how much upside he has but he hasn’t shown it consistently apparently because he was played out of position. Now we have some tall forwards we don’t seem to have his natural position whatever that is. Add this to the fact that he looks like he’d rather be having a kick with some of his mates in suburban G grade and I have no idea about where he fits in with RoLy’s plan. Cam makes my brain hurt.
