Agreed, didn't see much today to think year will be much of an improvement. Brayshaw got the ball a lot but kicked it long to no one at every attempt. Matera will never make it. We'll get bullied in the midfield this year.

Thought we looked very tall today and unbalanced and slow at times, but it was hot, but Collingwood were at the same ground, so it is possible the smell put our youngsters off.

I did think that Lobb out did himself, but I wish he was in the Fifty more often. We lost to them by a little over a kick in the last round of 2018. We're much further away based on yesterday's result and lack of forward movement. RL can't coach a forward structure.

Well I don't think anybody had gone the full doom and gloom after 1 JLT game. That's just a distraction from what had actually been said.

Full doom and gloom wouldn't be appropriate in any sense anyway.

We are building what should be a very good squad to put on the field. The original squad we started with before the restump / rewire was a reasonable good squad as well.


The issue that I and others have is that we are not getting the best out of them. Not much point in paying big money for forwards if nobody can actually kick it to their advantage. There's not much point to setting up a good midfield if we sirens all our time missing simple handballs and turning the ball over.

Let's stop pretending that the issue is the squad. The issue had always been how to get the best from the players we have and some of us aren't so silly as to believe the 'good' supporters are the ones that blindly go along with everything the club does because......Well because.

That doesn't make you a good supporter, that makes you the sort of mug that would buy a secondhand monorail.

Perhaps if more people were prepared to stop making excuses and start requiring accountability, we might stay achieving
