My biggest worry about the whole "run Hogan in the midfield" theory is that he possibly left Melbourne because they have done that. Possibly causing his foot injury. If he came to Freo on the assumption that he would be played where he plays best, he may just as quickly leave if that turns out not to be the case. We don't need him in the midfield anyway, we have plenty of midfielders, and if we changed strategy to a running game instead of a stoppage game, we would only need Fyfe and Mundy in there as "big bodied mids".
Just watch how effective Brad Hill can be if Freo have 3 big and a couple of small targets within 70 meters of goal, BEFORE he gets hold of the footy.
