A 3 year contract for a player who's spent most of his time on the fringes of the 22 with two new big money players arriving at the club in direct competition for his spot. That doesn't seem like good list management to me.
Surely you at least wait part of the season and see how it plays out. How Tabs recovers from his injury, how we structure up with the new rules introduced, the new players, potential new game plan, whether Hogan, Lobb and Tabs can even co-exist or if Cox, McCarthy and Dixon are better options in place of him?!
This strikes me as another Danyle Pearce deal.
