Once I heard some gush about how good it is to see gaff on the field again and he had paid his due for the thing...I turned off for two reasons...the complete butchery of the English language and of course for the bone headed nature of the twaddle coming out of the commentary box.

What I really liked about it, except for that highly suspicious bit at the end of the game, was that the umpires erred on the side of keeping the game moving rather than paying everything that looked like a free kick.

Also the lack of people on the ground that weren't playing. Not just the lack of runners and water carriers but no coaches. I think it would be great to see just the captain in charge of the team from siren to siren.

I don't get how the 20 points thing works, It seemed the commentators were a little unsure as well. Maybe the kids understand it, if that's the demographic the AFL were going for.
Nat played well but his goal kicking doesn't appear to have improved markedly.

The 20 points is restricted to one player on each team called the Game Changer (how pathetic)

That player scores double for each score he kicks.

If a goal is kicked from the 'Launch Zone' (equally as pathetic) which is a narrow strip in the middle of the ground, then it is worth 10 points not the usual six. If it is kicked by the 'Game Changer' the score is doubled to 20.

Have you ever seen such a try hard setup in your life? It is so artificial that even the players treat it as a giggle.

What I really liked was Hunter tap-tap-tapping the ball as he started to run - never fully marked the ball, just kept tapping it. Now there's someone who thinks and isn't afraid to try it out in a bs form of the game. He should never have been called back.
