While I understand that the membership and communications teams might from time-to-time be overly jezzuberant, as a general rule nothing that happens in Joondalup or Mandurah can be considered a blockbuster; although I'm not completely across the World Series of Bingo schedule, so I could be wrong about that.

As a follow-up question, does anyone on here actually go to JLT games, and if so why? Isn't the season long and disappointing enough without adding more time spent with Collingwood and West Coast fans in places like Joondalup and Mandurah?

that reminds me of an interview with Ian Botham. Apparently after a tour of the West Indies, the pommy cricket team stopped off to play a charity match on one of the Pacific Islands.

Not having a wicket, they played the game on a strip of coconut matting.

On their return to England, he was quizzed by a journo about the game and was asked, "Was it better to play on coconut matting or grass" and he replied "I don't know. I've never smoked coconut matting"
