As for the bad news... you may recall about 4 years back I wandered around Nepal in a fit of self indulgence and masochistic fantasy and came back with the news that way up in some sacred little monastery high above Manang some arseclown had left a Collingwood lanyard as an offering leading me to claim there is no god.
I went back, folks. I went back and this time I found the going hard, the path tortuous and steep, the rocks brutal and unyielding, the air thin and lacking comfort while the cold stole the charge from every battery and left your throat raw and croaking like a motorbike frog after a night on the Jagerbombs. It was almost hell on earth but I dragged my sorry arse up to Gorakshep and took a photo of Everest at sunset like a seasoned pro before scuttling for the stove and a pot of ginger tea... and some arseclown had graffitied the staircase with Collingwood forever.
