Expectations are not high but my hopes certainly are.

I'd like to finish top 8 and perform well in finals but I'm expecting less. Probably finish 10 - 12

Nope, I reckon we've got a team that is surely top 8 or top 4 - it would be only a string of disasters that would see us not playing deep into September.

Look at every zone and we're well and truly fitted out. The key for me is Sandi being there, by all accounts he's in peak form - how can we miss with that fella in the middle?

A good draw, a good list, but we've got to do a better job at keeping our players fit. We should make the finals, but we thought we would be pushing for that last year. I'm over building up hope to always be let down. No more excuses.

Early days still. 9 or 10 ?
There's a lot of expectation around Hoges and Lobb (I am super excited too). But statistically Hoges kicks 2 a game, which if we look up the road is on a parr with Darling, as opposed to ie a Josh Kennedy at about 3 1/2 a game. And the stats for the Lobster are a close match for Taberners, though Lobb spent a lot of time in the last few years in the ruck.
Plenty has to gel & go right with the "game plan" for us to progress. An adjusted midfield getting it up to the forwards right and how that whole forward setup comes together with the talls & smalls. How much many of our existing forwards improve with the new additions.

For me it’s a wait and see.
Is Hogan’s foot ok? When will he be 100% fit to go?
Can Lobb Tabs and Hogan( when fit ) all play together up forward?
How much improvement will there be for Brayshaw Cerra Banfield in 2019. And will any of our new draftees get an early game?
Injuries and rehab? We need the best 22 every week. Can Sandi hold out for the full year?
Win every game would be wishful thinking. Realistically 11+ games be ok as long as we take both derbies.
