I know you might
feel I'm just being contrary yeti, but I can assure you my curiosity about our injury data relative to other teams isn't contrived or new. For example, a year ago in relation to Jimb's point about survivorship bias

"My point us our injury numbers aren't higher than other clubs, just more damaging, which militates against the view that this is something endemic. I know Shane and others don't believe in luck, but who gets injured is as important as how many injuries you have. You might be able to hold a football department to account on the number of injuries, but we don't have more than other clubs."
I've just never seen much data to suggest we're worse at managing injuries than other teams. When I look at A Pearce, did Freo fail him by him getting injured in the first place, or have they done a good job in getting him back into the senior team like he hasn't missed a beat? I think people focus on the negatives way too often, and I'd genuinely love to know if injury management is something we do well or poorly.
And perhaps it's a small issue, but just because I have a different view doesn't mean I'm deliberately being contrary.
