The Good: it seems like we went for a real focus on foot skills with several of the kids very good on both sides. Bewley might end up being an absolute steal with that raking left foot.
The Bad: None, the Club cant be criticised for its work over this draft and trade period.
The Biggest Questions: Several, Is there a position now for McCarthy and Cox, especially if this Sturt guy becomes the next Stephensen or similar. Lets face it, it wont take much for Sturt to be playing better than Cam did last year. If we want a tall mobile centre half forward type you would think Hogan might take that role. Second, will Roly insert Hodor instead of Sandi or will he go with Sandi all year. Third, will Ballas play all year or will Schultz and Switta get a go? In other words will we play for wins now (Sandi and Ballas) or go all in with the rebuild. (Hodor and Schultz). I kinda think Roly will go with the veterans because of the pressure on his contract. Plenty more questions, no answers.
Shoulda / Coulda: Select Ben King? No. Guy cant kick and the guys we got instead ie Lobb and Hogan can. Select Ian Hill, I would have loved that but we should get him anyway in two years.
Im sure Morgan will review these posts in a decade and we can all judge but Im backing Lobb and Hogan to be better than King.
