I think they're about to walk into our trap and pick up the dud Hill.

Hill is a small forward, like Ryan and Rioli. Who cares who the Slime pick. I know they’re still pissed about missing out on Kelly from Geelong.

They engineered this for months, now they get gifted the most talented player in the draft. We got sucker punched - pure and simple.

But, hey - with only Hoges, the Lobber, Tabs, Cam Mac, Mikey, Ballas and guys like Matera we're filling a need with another forward.

Polly don’t forget Harley Bennell. We’ve got the small forwards covered. Though I’m disappointed we didn’t draft another midfielder. I’m seeing HB playing 22-25 games next year in the forward line. Now that’s exciting.

I wasn't as keen as others on I Hill, rating him in the mid 20's to 30's but I wouldn't have minded the stretch by Freo if we tried to fill a need for a small forward.

I wouldn't rule him out of lasting to our next pick though.
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.

Can't see us drafting 2 forwards...but as Shane once said 'no one overcorrects like Fremantle'.

Surely the AFL have to overturn these two very dodgy trades between the Swans & slime and insist the swans loose the points from their pick in the 20s?

trade 1: swans pick 26 for WC future 3rd rounder, completely lopsided on its own
Bid is made for Blakey which the swans match with thier (now earliest picks in the 30s)
trade 2 Swans trade a future 2nd round pick for WC pick 24.(also lopsided but not as bad as first trade)
somehow Swans don't have use up their pick in the 20's to land a top 10 player.

Indeed Purple Kit - I believe that is what the youth of today would describe as "dodgy af". Whatever that means.

I'm wondering if similarities exist between Hill and Jason Carter whether Carter will be preferred for a spot given that we already seem to have a lot of small to mid size forwards on our list plus the time and effort expended on the development of Carter through the Next Gen Academy overseen by Tendai Mzungu. I'm not doubting the merits of Hill but just looking for explanations for our draft/list building strategy On the drafting of Sam Sturt I think we've picked up a great prospect after seeing his highlights package and he offers something a bit different to our forward line.
