Once upon a time a team could be divided up roughly 6 talls 6 mids and 6 smalls.
Looking at our best available next year its going to be hard to find that combo unless we consider those only over 192cm as talls ie with blokes like McCarthy and Mundy as mobile mids and if so what preseason regime will get them best up to scratch?

Mundy and Cammac are mid-sized. As for training, get them fit by late January and then maintainence fitness with emphasis on skills work. Sharpen up the skills that these fellas have. (They have them, don't you worry about that.)

WTB, a couple of tall's forward, a couple back and 2 ruckman is a good fit, not sure about 6 smalls, 1 small forward, 1 small mid and maybe 1 small back or on the bench if needed.

I get that Hypen but there is a big difference between six forwards, mids and defenders at a restart (the new rule for 2019) and six talls, midsized and smalls (as per the original post)

It totally makes sense to consider having roughly a third talls, a third mids and a third smalls. This years premiers had that ratio.

The problem with Cam Mac is he is not tall enough for a tall and unlike Hogan is currently not quick and agile enough as a mid. His spot is in serious jeopardy.

Under the 666 rule, Tabs and Lobb would be the talls, Walters and Ballas the smalls and Hogan is a mid sized forward. Cam is not competing against Tabs he is competing for a spot against the Mundys/Banfields/Logues/Colyer and at this stage Mundy forward instead of Cammac is a no brainer.

I was really impressed with his field kicking in that one game against Port early in the year but he needs to put in a seriously big preseason and lay off the burgers.
