I'll admit to having the same lucky towel since 2008 - it's the only towel I use at home. Once, a very long time ago, it was soft and sort of thick - now, when I run it through the washer, it dries tougher than a roadhouse bog roll. But I would feel dirty drying myself after a shower on one of those chevron rags. The passage of time has turned my team colours into lilac, aqua and orange - Monet's colour palette for a provincial overgrown garden I guess:
As Wittgenstein mused, colour is in the eye of the beholder (or something philosophical like that) - they can shove their man-purple crap as far as I'm concerned, I'm a lilac/aqua/carmine sort of bloke.
