What's your point now?
We were talking marketing, now you're worried about ratings and attendance figures.
I'll try and explain.
So, there's these thing called women and, I know this is a lot to take in, they make up almost half the population.
Much like boys, young girls like watching older versions of themselves do something and are much more likely to take an interest in a sport that they can follow in their heroes footsteps. Buy the gear, wear a player's number on their backs, yell out someone's name as they snap the ball from the pocket - the stuff boys have always done.
The league will get better when girls start playing more junior football, which they will do because they see young women playing the game on the tv.
Claiming not to understand that is either stupidity or some sort of misogyny deal.
