So we have 14 and 31 and the Toast have two picks in between at 20 and 22.
If we pick Hill first with 14, will Clark be taken by the Toast? He may not make it through to 20. That would give us a 50% chance of getting him back later, along with the Eagles. Clarks a back man and Im not sure we really need him.
Alternatively we approach it more with a Bizkit style philosophy and go for Clark at 14 then poach Hill down the track from whoever takes him with the lure of playing with his cousins. Theres a risk with that, if he goes to Meth Coast at 20 he may not come back, he already said in interview hes looking forward to play AGAINST his cousins, to show them whos better.
Even with Colyer, Giro, Switta we could do with Ian Hill over the next decade running amok in that forward line. Check out his skills below his knees and his sprint times. This guy will be very good in two years.
If we dont get Hill, we really could do with a midfielder. Does Clark fit that bill?
